Katan silk is woven from twisted filament yarn, which gives this saree its weight and the crispness that holds a pleat. The one-inch border is woven in rather than applied, so it will not fray away from the body. An occasion saree. Unstitched blouse piece included.

Silk: dry clean only. Store folded in a cotton wrap away from direct light, and refold along a different line every few months so the creases do not set.
